Why I like Animals

Animals are also precious on the life of earth as much as human beings and trees are concerned. A wonderful creation of the variety of animals by nature would certainly beautify the environment for attracting our interest in them. I like to add some very important steps that we should take to protect these natural habitats.

As a drop of water from a top of a mountain makes a huge stream like rivers which help our life easy and productive, some animals of this wonderful nature provide us protection and beauty to our lives spiritually by their natural appearance and behaviours. I certainly admire birds and other animals like squirrels and monkeys playing around the fruitful bushes. How colourful the environment with them and my mind brings me happiness and relaxation through this quiet nature. I can recall a picturesque scenery of Dolphins amusingly and genuinely guiding our way by topping the waves on both sides of the ship as a rope of fishermen.

Twenty five years ago as a newly married person I was so delighted to be with my wife in our garden on Sundays and it happened to see a very beautiful white rabbit eating Desmodium triflorum in a corner of our garden. This innocent animal used to walk silently to find her place for meals at the dawn of the sun. I had slowly admired her beauty with my naked eyes to keep me down to the earth of nature and taste the spirit of our wonderful animal's world. I am so sad now because this innocent rabbit never appear in my garden like those days especially as a result of covering her route by newly built houses.

While I was taking photos of a beautiful peacock in a natural birds sanctuary in Sri Lanka, I enjoyed the bird's life style. I stayed a few days in this place of nature and studied the peacock's behavior. It gave me some sort of anticipation that we should protect these animals with our fullest effort.

Ecosystem is certainly the nature built for all animals and trees which nevertheless provide the balanced environment for them. Human beings as the most intelligent animals among them should understand the importance of their responsibility to protect this ecosystem. It is in this context I take special effort to gain knowledge about animals. Organizations like PETA - People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals and Anti-Vivisection Societies provide a great service to the nations across the world. This is actually a very interesting and amusing place to visit by animal lovers.

Forests as a part of rich biodiversity is a precious basin open to these natural creatures. On the other hand it protects human beings by providing the ecological equilibrium. People should take special effort and precautionary measures to sustain the natural inhabitants in the forest blanket spread over the world for the sake of living beings. If the resources of the forest cover are unlimitedly used or manipulated, the danger that can happened to the world in the future would be inevitable. Animals have their rights to live as human beings and their future also should be well assured by human beings. It is very interesting to imagine how beautiful this world is with the variety of lovely animals. Is it so beautiful if they are not living with us in this magically created wonderful world.

If the great nations can themselves create a fund for protection of animals and the nature, I believe it would be an envisaged act of responsibility over the unfair activities being taken place nowadays against them. If we love nature and animals we can see the difference in the environment. The rain will be calm and weather becomes so natural because the nature is alive. But if we do harm to the nature as you know there will be more disasters like floods, droughts and earth quakes around the globe.

I intend passing a brief and important message through this article of Animals that we all should understand the necessity of protecting the safety and survival of the animals living around the world. One must really understand his responsibility and steps he should take to keep the nature alive for the benefit of human beings and animals as well.
